Good citizens built the Mini-Cassia area, creating thriving communities. Who were these people and what did they do?
Remember and honor the past while building for the future...
Burley Public Library Foundation Legacy Project
Remember the Past
Work Toward the Future
Increases from 2006 to 2010 In 1911 the first Burley library building opened its doors. In 1959 our current Burley Public Library building was constructed. It was later expanded, but now it is bursting at the seams! With no more possibility for expansion, we need a larger library building.

The Legacy Project will enable you to honor your family member, ancestor, friend, business, farm, club, or church by donating to the Burley Public Library Foundation. This money will go toward our future library. Your donation will entitle you to space on a Legacy kiosk in our future library and on an Internet Legacy website. The standard donation will be $100, but you may donate more money to receive more space.

The Legacy kiosk will display the pictures and information you submit to honor those people and institutions–our roots and wings–who are part of our heritage. This kiosk will have a touch screen with an index. An Internet Legacy website will also be constructed. Even though the Legacy kiosk will not be available immediately, your information will be entered into the Legacy Internet site shortly after your pledge or donation is received.
